To HTML or not to HTML ...

My colleagues in the Stardust Team all seem very comfortable and skilled in using HTML - which I am not. I've never really felt the urge to take the time to learn HTML properly but they present some compelling arguments as to why it is a useful skill. I am starting to feel like a bit of a Luddite!
